Why Base Coat?

Since there is no protective layer between the nail plate and the polish, the dye seeps through the layers and stains them. A base coat acts as that barrier in between the two by preventing staining.

But the benefits of a base coat dont stop there. Using a base coat will significantly increase the length of your manicure. Think of it as a double sided tape that holds the nail and the polish together. It is a crucial step in any manicure and one that should not be skipped.
